The Best Halloween Party and Decoration Ideas with Totally Ghoul from Kmart

Halloween is just around the corner so get ready to celebrate. Follow our easy and inexpensive tips and ideas below, it’s easy as 1, 2, 3! We headed to Kmart to shop for our Halloween supplies and found a great selection of ghoulish goodies – have to admit we got a little giddy over the great prices. The bonus is you can pack it away post-Halloween and pull it out next Halloween and the Halloween after that…It’s the perfect way to spruce up your Halloween supplies and make everything feel new again!

Watch the fun we had shopping and creating. . .

Then get started.  You can do it, here’s how. . .

1. SHOP

With a budget of $300 we decorated the front door and walkway, made our mantle spooktacular,  turned the front entry into a Happy Halloween greeting with plenty of candy for trick or treaters and decorated a party table with treats for fun with family and friends!  The looks are easy to achieve and it was inexpensive to create. Check out the Totally Ghoul merchandise in store and online as well as weekly specials at Kmart’s 50ft Party> and our complete shopping list below.

2. DECORATE

Theses looks are easy and inexpensive to create. You can use our shopping list to buy materials and follow our simple guide or create your own haunted Halloween look.  Everything you see, with the exception of our own dishes, candy jars, candle sticks and tissue paper flowers, was purchased at Kmart.  We even filled the candy jars with the great buys we got in store.  The kids loved everything and so do we!  For more details. . .

3. MAKE & BAKE

Here are 6 simple and special recipes for your Halloween Party.  Each one is simple to make, inexpensive to serve and will get Cheers from your guests.  They will also fill the bellies of your trick or treaters so that candy doesn’t become the main course on Halloween night.  For more details. . .

4. DRESS

Need ideas? Some of the hottest costumes for Halloween 2011 will be pirates, wizards and sorcerers inspired from the Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter movies.  Vampires remain a hot costume idea, as the Twilight series continues to rein supreme.  Zombies and Lady Gaga top the list of cool costumes, as well as anyone from the cast of Jersey Shore!

Halloween costumes are a must and the Kmart Costume BOOtique had a great selection.  There were costumes for couples, adults, babies, toddlers, hard to please teens, and even pets!  Kmart not only had great costumes but also a wide range of masks, wigs, makeup, and accessories to go with your costume.   The prices were great too, not like the specialty stores who charge premium prices this time of year.  Check out what’s in store check out the Kmart’s 50ft Party>

5. PARTY

Now you’re ready to host friends and family for the Ghoulest Halloween party on the block.  Depending on the ages of your kids, you can have your party pre or post trick or treating.   The most important thing is to have fun and create magic and memories for your family!

We partner with Kmart and were compensated for our original tips and ideas.
