Make some magic this Monday and ignite the night with a Chinese New Year dinner for the family.
It’s hard to like Monday, but this coming Monday, we all have an opportunity for some fun! It’s the Chinese New Year and that’s a good reason to celebrate. Here’s a simple and special dinner idea, I just tried out for you, thanks to my friends at P.F. Chang’s. This year, stay home and save money – cook up one of P.F. Chang’s Home Menu® collection of signature dishes, they have quality cuts of beef and white chicken breast, succulent shrimp, crisp colorful vegetables, tender noodles, and full-flavored sauces. I made the Firecracker Shrimp (meal for 2) in just 10 minutes. Nice and spicy the way I like it, plus the veggies had crunch. To complete the party, pick up some red paper lanterns to hang in your dinning area, add a bowl of tangerines or oranges as a centerpiece on your table and serve dinner on your china. It will make everyone feel festive. For dessert you can eat the tangerines along with some fortunes cookies or serve orange or pomegranate sorbet. Keep it simple so you can enjoy the evening.
