The HOT Color For A Spring Party – Hello Yellow!

It’s Live a Little Monday – and time for a weekly dose of happy living, jump on the bandwagon and write your own ways to enjoy life this spring.  Here’s one way we are doing it – say ‘HELLO YELLOW’!

The hot looks from the runway often translate well to the table and this season is no exception.  Incorporate yellow, a hot color for fashion, on your table and let the sun shine at your next soiree.  Whether it’s yellow, lemon or limone, the color works for parties of all kinds (see our “You are my Sunshine” party as a great example).   Above and below we have curated a collection of some of the prettiest products from across the net that feature a pantone ‘solar power’ color palatte.    You can go big or small with the look, monochromatic or just pops of color that brighten your party.  You can’t go wrong, as I learned this past week from by fashion forward friend Missy, YELLOW is the neutral of this season.

  2. Thanks for sharing that Rejean. I read Susan’s blog, but did not know her personally, but even online you could tell she was just like sunshine and I’m not surprised her favorite color was yellow.

  3. Honestly, I’ve never considered yellow a ‘go to color,’ but it is so fresh and happy. I love this and limone, sounds exotic! I’m pinning this to a board called “Yellow For Susan” to honor a good friend’s mom who recently passed away after a bout with cancer. Not to be sad, her favorite color was yellow. I think we’ll have to have a party in her honor. That will be wonderful for my friend. Thank you!
