Last week my colleagues, Natalie Klein of Hot Moms Club and Ciaran Blumenfeld of Momfluential Media, invited me to a NYC event sponsored by Secret Extensions. Secret Extensions is a brand new hair extension product that requires no glue, no salon appointment and no special skills to use. It’s endorsed by Daisy Fuentes and allows you to instantly transform your look for a special events (wedding, holiday, graduation, vacation, date night or girls night out). The extensions come in a variety of colors so you can personalize and blend them for your own custom look like ombre, highlights, or match you own color for extra fullness. You can also curl the extensions for a wavy look. Above, I wanted to share a few of the lovely transformations that took place at the event. Seeing each of my friends with different hair types, get equally gorgeous results convinced me to share this product with you.
My personal experience was awesome. I loved my “party pony” (my name for it) and I can’t wait to wear it again. It’s a perfect way to dress up hair for the holiday season, and a secret that makes you feel more glamorous. The best part is that you can do it without spending time and money at the salon. Cheers to that, because during the holidays we all have very little of both to spare!
Here’s the scoop.
Why I picked the ponytail?
It’s a HOT TREND for 2014: They’re back! David Antunes, celebrity stylist and celebrates the rebirth of the ponytail 2014. “This season ponytails are back with a vengeance”, said Antunes. Antunes refers to this new look as a ‘MOD Ponytails’ which is no longer just for schoolgirls or bad hair days.
Above are some of the goodies we received, I’m looking forward to trying them all!
