Elizabeth and I have been invited to NYC to spend some time getting to know the new Sandra By Sandra Lee Collection. In case you are one of the few who don’t know Sandra Lee, she is a TV star, entrepreneur and best selling author. We will be previewing her new collection both in store, and then as part of a hands-on workshop with Sandra Lee herself. The workshop will cover: Tablescaping & Entertaining, Semi-Homemade Cooking, and Cocktail Time®.
We’re both looking forward to meeting Sandra and picking up a some new tips and tricks to add to our existing entertaining arsenal. We can’t wait to get to NYC and see the rest of the collection – we’ll be reporting back soon but . . .
You can follow along with us on facebook and twitter with hashtag #BySandraLee. Also, be sure to follow @BySandraLee for updates, deals and more information!
Sandra By Sandra Lee’s exclusive collection of home products will be available this month (mid April 2012) at Sears and Kmart stores nationwide. The collection will include cookware, utensils, gadgets, bakeware, small kitchen appliances, tabletop items and storage solutions. The collection truly embodies Sandra Lee’s talent for offering easy and affordable solutions with out giving up beauty!
To date, my favorite item in the collection is this 16-Piece Dinnerware Set. The color and scroll print are so pretty and the dinnerware is seriously tough too with durable, chip-resistant ceramic construction. The bonus is this set is only $49.99! It includes four place-settings with dinner plate, salad plate, soup bowl and mug and are dishwasher and microwave safe. That’s perfect for our big Italian family and means everyone can have a pretty place setting at the table!
After perusing the Sandra by Sandra Lee collection online we were inspired to curate our own collection of items from the line and created Pinterest mood boards for a party we would love to host! Check them out and have fun creating your own.
Tablescape Mood Board with Inspiration #bySandraLee Home Products for Sears & Kmart
“Inspired by my memories of gatherings in my grandmother’s backyard at the picnic table. I choose a white and cherry palette for the basics – love this color combo for summer as you can introduce blue, green or yellow as an accent color.” – Elizabeth
“I LOVE turquoise and red – it’s a little retro yet fresh and fun! Sandra by Sandra Lee’s home collection features these two colors and it inspired me to create this pinterest mood board for a “cocktails and candy bar’ tablescape . It would be wonderful to someday host all my online friends for a Tweet Up Party. Until then we will enjoy our time in NYC at Sandra’s Summer Carnival! ” – Dawn
