Last’s year’s trend of  ‘White is Right’ gives way to color with cool blue and green, modern hues.  It leads the way to newness as this years biggest trend.  Christmas 2013 is very clearly taking its cue from fashion.  The new ‘must’ for the trendy Christmas lover are shades of turquoise, ice-blue, pistachio and new creations such as the ‘Caspian green.  These colors in combination with silver, glitter and white and frosted surfaces, bring a modern and invigorating breath of fresh air to Christmas decorations.

Inspiration from nature in the form of woodland creatures is hot this holiday.  The hottest animal of all, is the owl and it will be seen everywhere!

Burlap is everywhere and is the perfect foundation for “Barn To Mansion” decor this season.  You can pair it with lace or wrap it around ceramic – you can’t go wrong!  It’s a basic for “Rustic Chic” – one of the most talked about decor trends  of the season. GET THE LOOK here>

The botanical-based glass domes will be covering everything from candles to nativity sets this season and are hugely popular.

We called them out as a hot trend last year and they’re still burning bright this year.  Buy LED candles in bulk in a variety of sizes and use them everywhere.  You can buy LED candles with remote control on/off switches and timers making them even more practical.  LED and Electro-magnetic candles cast the glow of a natural flame using flickering reflective wicks in real-wax candles and are a quick way to set an inviting holiday vibe.  We love the tea light version shown here along with the standard pillar candles.
