Ciderhouse Sangria For Fall


Sangria is not just for summer, it’s perfect for the cool fall weather too. 

That’s why we are excited to share the recipe below from Sandeman – it really captures the flavors and essence of autumn.  Although, we’re sure you’re excited to rush off and try this recipe, be sure to leave yourself plenty of time. The secret to great Sangria is letting it sit.  We can’t wait to sip some at our next tailgate or by the fire this season!

Fall Sandeman Ciderhouse Sangria


  • 24 oz Sandeman Founders Reserve Porto
  • 3 oz maple syrup
  • 2 Granny Smith apples
  • 2 pears
  • 24 oz apple cider
  • 3 oz rye whiskey
Slice apples and pears, set aside. Mix remaining ingredients together in pitcher, add apple and pear slices, stir and let sit for at least 12 hours (or overnight). Serve chilled.
