Spring Prosecco and Limoncello Cocktail

The warm weather in New York City (70 degrees this week!), coupled with daylight savings time and extra hour of sun over the weekend has me in a mood to celebrate.  I can’t think of a better way to toast the start of a new season than with a glass of bubbly. So in honor of the Spring, I’m adding the refreshing twist of limoncello to my favorite prosecco – it makes this cocktail both tart and sweet.  To make it even more special, I used gold sanding sugar to rim flutes glasses.  This cocktail really sparkles and it’s so simple to mix an serve.  It’s perfect for Easter or any spring party you host for family and friends. Thanks to my friends at  Santa Margherita for sharing it.
