The Best Buffalo Chicken Dip

Surprise guests at your next party by whipping up this delicious Buffalo Chicken Dip featuring the flavor of Buffalo wings combined with 2 dreamy creams. Serve with a variety of scoopers (tortilla chips, crackers, celery) and it will be a family favorite for sure.



  • 1 8oz. package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cooked and cubed chicken
  • ½ cup hot sauce
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey jack cheese

Instructions for Buffalo Chicken Dip

Preheat oven to 350. In a 4-cup baking dish, spread cream cheese evenly over bottom of dish. In a separate bowl mix chicken, sour cream and hot sauce – spread this mixture over cream cheese. Top with cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, and/or celery.

    I make this with shredded chicken (boil and shred with 2 forks) and Frank’s WING sauce (not hot sauce), ranch or blue cheese dressing and mozzarella or cheddar/jack on top. It’s a perennial party fave.

  8. It came out great I knew doubling the recipe wouldn’t be an issue but I was nervous about the ranch but it added a lot of flavor!

  10. I made this back in March and really enjoyed it. I’m making it again for the Saints game but I doubled the recipe and am using ranch and sour cream. Looks good so far.

    Use a 1/4 cup sour cream and 1/4 cup blue cheese dressing
