Since most of us don’t live near a sprinkles, we need to mix up our own. I am taking my cue from the pros by making my own version of the sprinkles Saint Patrick’s Day cupcake. They are simple and very special! Use a dark chocolate cake mix (I’m making mine with Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix), then top with Bailey’s Irish Cream Cheese frosting. Recipe below. I found shamrock sprinkles ( the smaller version) at my local supermarket and will use these to decorate my cupcakes – anything green will work.
Bailey’s Cream Cheese Frosting
(recipe 12 cupcakes )
Ingredients:
- 4 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 3 tablespoons of Bailey’s Irish cream
Directions:
1. Mix everything well.
