Viki’s Baked Granola Apple Recipe

Baked Granola Apples will give your family a delicious taste of fall!

Fall is finally here and apples are ripe and ready for picking. My three boys love them and I’m happy to serve them cider, pie and just about any iteration you can think of that features this tart treat from Mother Nature – especially when they’re in season locally.

Below, I’m pleased to share a recipe for Baked Granola Apples from our friends at Viki’s Granola. I’ll be trying it this weekend. I already have all the ingredients, but want to wait until the boys are home to bake them so that they can enjoy the aroma that fills the house. The anticipation is half the fun.

Viki’s Baked Granola Apple

  • 3 tablespoons cold butter, diced
  • 3 tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 apples, washed and dried
  • 1 cup of Viki’s Granola Apple Cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream

Preheat oven to 375°. In a bowl combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Take good care to mash everything together with a fork. Use a melon baller, apple corer or paring knife to remove apple cores; don’t go all the way through. Place apples in a small baking dish and fill with butter mixture and bake for 30-40 minutes. To serve top with Viki’s Apple Cinnamon Granola and a scoop of ice cream.

  1. Danielle – I buy mine at Kings Supermarket in NJ. You can also buy it at Shoprite and other major supermarket chains, as well as on Amazon.

  2. Those apples looks amazing! Water in mouth confirmed. 🙂
I like that the granola has a soft texture. Do you know where I can buy it? (besides vikisgranola website)
This dish is probably not the most health, but who cares, we have to enjoy life sometimes, right? 🙂
    Thanks for a great share.
