Mozzarella & Pepperoni Panini

For any reason in any season this Panini is just perfect!

Mozzarella & Pepperoni Panini

  • italian rolls (you can substitute italian bread)
  • sliced mozzarella cheese (you can adjust amount to your liking)
  • thinly sliced pepperoni
  • olive oil

  • Grease and preheat Panini grill. Meanwhile, brush outside of roll (both top and bottom) with olive oil. Slice roll in half horizontally and layer on mozzarella and pepperoni. Close up sandwich and place in Panini grill – grill until cheese is melted and outside is golden brown (4-5 minutes). Remove from grill and place on cutting board, slice in half or quarters and serve.

Note: If you don’t have a Panini maker, place your sandwich on a grill pan or regular pan and then place a cast iron skillet, heavy pan or pot top on top of your sandwich and press down while it is cooking – flip it halfway through cooking time in order to brown both sides.
