It’s tomato season and time to enjoy.
Being a Jersey girl, I was raised on the juicy beefsteak, plump cherry, and perfect plum varieties from my Dad’s garden. I love them all, truly tomatoes possess a very special power over me. I can eat them plain with a dash of salt, in a salad, or in sauce – not much tastes better to me. One of my favorites ways to enjoy tomatoes is to eat them fresh from the garden or farm stand with cheese. Caprese salad sends me to the moon, but I really needed to expand my horizons, so this summer I went in search of some more amazing recipes. I found quite a few at finecooking.com, and I had to share them with you. I hope you enjoy.
