Easy Holiday Centerpiece

Looking for something a little different for the centerpiece of your holiday table? Bring the outside inside with a simple, yet stunning combination of ornamental cabbage and evergreens.

Materials

  • Mercury cache pot (6”)
  • 4 ornamental cabbage blooms (call your local florist 3-5 days before your party and ask them to order)
  • Assorted evergreen cuttings, 10”-12” in length (if you have pine trees/evergreens in your yard, cut a few short branches from the underside or back of your tree so they won’t be missed, otherwise order them from florist along with cabbage)

Instructions

  • Fill container 2/3 full with water. Cut 1” off stems of ornamental cabbage and arrange in center of container. Insert evergreen branches around perimeter of container. Note: replace water every few days and re-cut cabbage and your arrangement should last you a good week or so!)
