If you have no budget for new items, here is an idea from the amazing writers at Good Housekeeping that takes nothing but a few items you have around your home and a few from the craft store.
Good House Keeping’s Ghostly Gallery
Turn a mantel into a ghostly gallery by photocopying 19th-century portraits (these are from a Civil War history book) and mounting them on somber, coal-colored mats.
- Dawn’s Notes: You can also print these out from the computer. I got a few good ones by googling 19th-century portraits:

- Image 4
- Image 5
